MK802 IIIst(ATV1200) 제품선정과정
1. 기존에 스틱형 미니PC를 중심으로 제품을 선정하는 과정에서 여러가지의 회원님들의 의견이 있었습니다.
- HW
- 스틱형 미니PC의 내장 안테나로서는 Wi-Fi성능이 떨어져서 스트리밍 서비스나 웹서비스에 지장을 받는다. 맘에 안들어서 별도로 외장 안테나를 달아서 튜닝을 한다.
- 외부 HDD 연결시 USB케이블 전원만으로는 파워가 부족하여, 별도로 유전원 USB 허브를 장착하게 된다. USB포트가 여유가 있으면 좋겠다.
- 스틱형 미니PC에서 전원 On / Off를 위하여 USB케이블을 꼽고 빼고 해야 하므로 불편하다.
- 오디오 아웃지원이 없어서 외부의 오디오 전용 리시버로 음악을 들을 수가 없다.
- SW
- XBMC 동영상 HW 디코딩 지원이 되기를 바란다.
다양한 의견이 있었고, 이중 최신 XBMC 12.0의 출시가 되면서 XBMC를 이용한 Need가 무척 높았습니다.
XBMC 12.0은 2013년 1월에 정식버젼이 출시 되었습니다.

XBMC 12.0의 정식버젼의 내용을 보면 다양한 OS와 다양한 기능을 부가서비스로 제공하고 있습니다. 금번 12.0 버젼부터 안드로이드 OS를 정식 지원하게 되었습니다.
그러나 안드로이드 OS 버젼을 지원합니다만, 실질적으로 동영상 HW디코딩관련으로는 기기별로 제약이 있기 때문에 가능한 기기 목록이 있습니다.
