This is U5team.
Unfortunately, in the case of a normal upgrade to the users of software released last Friday, I can not reproduce the symptom of existing user data.
Therefore, it is not a condition to review for reproduction, so we ask for your understanding and release the upgrade version.
We strongly recommend user DB backup before users upgrading this release version.
I would like to brief you on how to backup and give you a chance to try this opportunity.
If you do backup / restore, you can keep your system in the state that you used in the future and you can keep the environment you used.
Materials: FAT32 / EXT4 USB Memory Stick with 4GB or more space left
1. How to Backup
1. Select ATV Setting ==> About ==> System Update.
2. Plug the USB stick into the USB slot on the box.
3. Select Bacup Userdata.
4. Select the storage medium to be backed up.
5. Select the storage medium and the following message window will appear. Please press OK here.
If you select OK, reboot the box or enter the Power save mode.
When the box is rebooted, the system upgrade screen will appear as shown above. If you have a Linux file system until it is backed up, it may take 10 to 15 minutes.
When the box is booted normally, check the file on the USB stick.
Depending on the amount of data to be backed up, it is divided into userdata.taraa or additionally userdata.tarab.
Please save the file and restore it later.
2. Restore User data
The restore procedure is the opposite of the traditional backup process.
Please select USB memory stick with userdata.taraa or additionally userdata.tarab and select OK as the above screenshot.
If you select OK, reboot the box or enter the Power save mode.
When the box is rebooted, the system upgrade screen will appear as shown above. If you have a Linux file system until it is backed up, it may take 10 to 15 minutes.
You can restore the environment used by the existing user through the above procedure.
If you follow the above procedure, you will be able to restore the existing environment used by the existing user in the future.
It will be announced on June 28, together with the details posted.
The fixes are as follows.
1. Fix app dying after updating Youtube app.
2. Subtitle file related: Subtitle file supported by 0x0d0d0d0a of subtitle file.
3. IPTV app: add group / favorite channel.

PS: Add the group function and process the channel processing part by using the DB, so it is not compatible with the existing saved data. Please load the M3U file that you used.
4. Improved the problem that sometimes it can not pair due to WIFI signal interference problem when pairing BT remote controller.

6. Automatic subtitle font selection with cinema font when Korean is selected.
7. Fixed the problem that HiFileManager, Subtitle Encode can not be saved after selecting.
8. Screen saver: Switching to standby mode after using the user time setting when setting the turn screen off function
Fixed backdrop to default so that it does not appear.
9. Add U5 Mini Remote (U5 Air Remote) upgrade app for U5 mini users.
- Future U5 Remote users will also be able to support the RCU upgrade image if they have the same app.
Related to Europe
- Added LCN On / Off function.
- Maintains the ON status of LCN function in Korea (ATSC).
If you have any problems with the normal update user data after backup, please give me the backup data if you can provide us with the backup data. This data will only be used to analyze the cause of data disappearance, so please cooperate with U5 users.
